This will probably only be read by the two or three search bots that visit my blog, but if by any chance someone made of flesh and blood comes across it know this: Stay Frosty is awesome, if you want to be a pirate then you should join. Now.
Why you ask? Well here are some reasons:
- Open recruitment until Odyssey launches. No questions asked. No requirements. The only people being turned away are brand new characters piloted by brand new players. This lifestyle would be unfair to them.
- We have only two rules:
- All 1v1 and ransoms are honored.
- Don't suck (which is more a suggestion).
- We are tailored for the casual, laid back PvPer who logs in to relax, kill some dudes then go to bed. No CTA's, no pressure to be on comms, no orders from high up to log in, no stress over fits because you fly what works for you and helps you adhere to rule two. If you want to hunt lone wolf or in a pack, it's all right. In other words, we are cool with everything.
- We now have a forum, a kill board and a mumble server. A corporation needs nothing more.
- Rixx Javix is awesome. I was genuinely moved to see him commenting on the kill-board not to berate, or criticize or to tell you your fittings were rubbish and that's why you died, but to congratulate and to gently encourage. With a "nice kill" on a particularly juicy one from a corp mate or sarcastically saying "close one" on my death by a blob he makes his pilots feel welcome and positive. I don't know him well enough yet but I suspect I landed myself in an outfit that is lead by the rarest of breeds: a true leader.
So take advantage of our temporary open recruitment policy and join the 30 (and growing) members of Stay Frosty, an old school Pirate corporation. Join our in game channel EVEOGANDA to hang out and know more; I also recommend you click that link and visit Rixx's blog.
